Privacy Policy for FitTrack

This Privacy Policy explains how CodingCobra (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the FitTrack mobile application (the “App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account & profile information. When you sign in, we collect your mobile phone number (used to send and verify a one-time password via SMS). You may also provide a username, age, and gender to personalize your profile.
Fitness data you create. Workout plans, routines, exercises, logged sets (reps and weight), body-weight entries, and body measurements that you add in the App.
Device & technical data. A push-notification token, device model and operating system version, app version, and diagnostic/log data used to operate and troubleshoot the App.
Advertising identifiers. To show ads, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may access your device’s Advertising ID and limited ad-interaction data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and keep you signed in (phone-number verification).
To store and display your workouts, routines, and progress.
To send push notifications, including workout reminders and motivational messages (you can disable these in your device settings).
To display advertisements that keep the App free.
To maintain, secure, and improve the App and diagnose technical issues.

3. Advertising

The App displays banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your Advertising ID and interaction data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Learn more in Google’s Advertising policies.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services that may process your data on our behalf:

Google Firebase — phone-number authentication and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). See the Firebase Privacy & Security page.
Google AdMob — advertising. See how AdMob handles data.
Google Play Services — core device and security functionality.
Our application server (hosted at workout.codingcobra.in) — stores your profile and fitness data so it syncs to your account.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the App, or where required by law. Your fitness data is tied to your account and is not shared publicly unless you choose to share a progress image yourself.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and fitness data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your personal data from our systems, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Access, correct, or delete your profile and fitness data from within the App.
Request full account deletion by contacting us (see below).
Turn off notifications in your device settings.
Reset or limit ad personalization via your device’s Advertising ID controls.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

9. Children’s Privacy

FitTrack is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
